On August 13, 1993, Defendant construction company's employee was driving a company vehicle when he struck the vehicle ahead of him, in a rear end collision. The vehicle was stopped on the SR60 Freeway. The collision caused the stopped vehicle to be pushed into Plaintiff's vehicle which was also stopped in the southbound number 1 lane. At the time, Plaintiff was a 41-year-old heavy equipment mechanic
