On October 24, 1992, Plaintiff Melissa Meister, a 24-year-old model/actress, was traveling northbound on Larrabee Street in West Hollywood. Defendant Skip Johnson was driving southbound on Larrabee in an automobile he had rented from Defendant Fog Corporation dba Luxury Line Rent-a-Car. Defendant made a left turn at the T-intersection with Harratt and struck Plaintiff's 1986 Saab in a near-head-on collision.
