Defendant John C. Lynch had a 1993 Cadillac Seville rental car in his possession. On February 5, 1993 on Mountain Avenue in Upland, Defendant John C. Lynch lost control of his vehicle. As a result of the occurrence, Defendant drove through a fast food restaurant and a gas station. Lynch then turned his vehicle left and ran diagonally across Mountain Avenue where he hit a median divider, going airborne and hitting the Plaintiff's stopped vehicle in the left turn pocket and then going over the top of Plaintiff's vehicle down the other side and striking several other vehicles. There was a severe impact, major property damages.
