On Jan. 28, 1999, plaintiff, an 81-year-old female, who was visiting her daughter, slipped on a throw rug leading
from the kitchen to the dining room. She fell on her face, and injuring her left eye and losing of her eyesight.
The throw rug did not have skid resistant material on the backside.
