In May 2014 plaintiff, 34, was driving his vehicle when it was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer driven by Gurwinder Singh. He sued Singh and Boparai Transport Inc., Singh's employer and owner of the tractor-trailer.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff contended that defendant negligently operated his vehicle and that his employer was vicariously liable.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS:
Defendants admitted fault but contested plaintiff's injuries.
