On July 15, 1993, Plaintiff Martin Johnson, a 30-year-old construction laborer, was traveling on State Route 49 in Auburn. Johnson was stopped at a red light when his pickup truck was struck in a rear end collision by Defendant Harvey Eden's pickup.
