The plaintiff claimed that the defendants Donald Watson and Millennium Circuit Services Inc.
were negligent because of an improperly placed parking stop in a parking lot. The parking stops
were placed one for each two stalls straddling the line between the parking stalls. The plaintiff
claimed that she tripped over an improperly placed parking stop.

The plaintiff submitted a demand of $2,750,000. At the time of jury deliberations this was reduced to $500,000. The defendants declined to submit an offer and all demands were rejected.

Injuries
Left supracondylar femur fracture; two surgeries, including the application of plate and screws during first surgery. Residuals included a permanent limp, constant pain and suffering, scar from mid- calf through the upper thigh and a second scar at hip region due to bone graft operation.
