Facts

In the summer of 1999, the plaintiff rented a bottom floor unit of a seven-unit, 40-year-old
apartment complex in Playa Del Rey. Over the next two years, the plaintiff alleged that there
were several episodes of water intrusion. The plaintiff further alleged toxic mold developed and
flourished. The plaintiff alleged her health deteriorated as a result of exposure to mold.
