On June 25, 1992, Plaintiff Leanore Levenson, a 58-year-old teacher, left Defendant Del Mar Fair between 9:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. and walked to her car with a friend. The car was parked in a dirt parking lot. The lot was illuminated with permanent and portable light poles. Levenson tripped on a rut or hole and fell.
