On March 21, 1991, Plaintiffs husband and wife were southbound on Tampa when Defendant, exiting the 101 Freeway, ran a red light and collided with Plaintiffs' vehicle in a broadside collision. At the time, Plaintiff husband was a 32-year-old real estate agent and Plaintiff wife was a 23-year-old homemaker and retail sales person.
