Contentions
PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiffs accused defendant of infringing on three of its patents. Plaintiffs also accused defendant of unfair competition.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant denied the allegations and asserted various affirmative defenses. Defendant also counter-claimed for infringement of its patent and declaratory judgment of non-infringement and invalidity of plaintiffs' asserted patents.
Damages
Good Technology sought $62 million in damages. MobileIron sought $25 million in damages.
Result
The jury found two of three Good Technology's patents "obvious" and the third valid, but not infringed. The jury likewise found MobileIron's patent not infringed.
