Sandra Bosch, a 47-year-old secretary to the director of curriculum and special projects for the Oroville City Elementary School District, returned to work after a medical leave with the medical limitation that she was not to lift more than 25 pounds. District officials told her that this limitation precluded her from returning to her previous position and that she had been transferred to a part-time position as an attendance clerk.
