The plaintiff, a 49-year-old postal worker, slipped and fell down stairs at her apartment complex. Leaking sewage had ben tracked on the stairs earlier in the day unbeknownst to the plaintiff. The plaintiff filed her complaint stating the cause of action was for general negligence and premises liability.
