Facts
The plaintiffs were driving during rush-hour traffic in the carpool lane on the 405 freeway near
Von Karman Ave., and the defendant was driving behind the plaintiffs. The defendant took her
eyes off the road to adjust her sun visor and crashed into the rear of the plaintiffsÆ vehicle.
Injuries
Plaintiff Reggie Luck sustained injuries of right shoulder impingement syndrome and soft tissue cervical spine, and contusion of the right knee. Plaintiff Rochelle Luck had soft tissue injury and shoulder pain which has since resolved.
Other Information
Plaintiffs Reggie Luck settled for $20,000 and Rochelle Luck settled for $7,450. The case was settled before James F. Grier of Santa AnaÆs Judicate West.
