Facts

On Feb. 20, 1997, plaintiff Donato Camacho, a 22-year-old construction laborer, was assisting in the dismantling of a large construction site tent when a metal beam fell on him, fracturing his left knee. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence and premises liability.
