Facts

The plaintiff, a 13-year-old male, presented to Placentia Linda emergency room with complaints of unilateral
testicular pain with nausea. The ER physician, defendant Dr. Kadakia, diagnosed probable epididymitis and
prescribed antibiotics. The radiologist, defendant Dr. Barret, read a testicular ultrasound as essentially normal.
The child was diagnose with testicular torsion two days later and his testicle was removed.
