On March 7, 1996, the defendant dealership accepted in trade a used 1991 Plymouth Voyager
Van. The defendant then inspected the vehicle and resold it on March 13, 1996 to the plaintiffs.
The plaintiffs drove their vehicle without incident until Dec. 27, 1999. At approximately 3:00 p.m.,
the plaintiffs came to a halt while waiting to make a right turn. Without warning, her driverÆs
airbag exploded causing her left hand to strike the windshield, causing the windshield to break.
Upon exiting the vehicle, she twisted her left knee.

Settlement Discussions

The case was settled for $175,000 before Troy Roe of Judicate West.
