Facts
On Jan. 30, 2000, the plaintiff, a 59-year-old female, was being pushed in a wheelchair down a
boarding ramp in Atlanta, Ga. A security employee, employed by an independent security
company, was assisting the plaintiff. While the plaintiff was being pushed in the wheelchair, it hit
a bump and the plaintiff was ejected from the wheelchair and fell to the ground and suffered
severe injuries.
