The plaintiff, Brad Pye Jr., a minority shareholder of the defendant Los Angeles Sentinel Inc. brought an action in which he alleged 13 derivative and individual claims against Los Angeles Sentinel Inc., Ken Jen Co. Inc. (its majority shareholder), Jennifer Thomas (its president and chairperson of its board of directors) and Danny Bakewell (a member of its board of directors).
