On July 13, 1995, decedent, age 64, was seated on a 20-inch stone fence in Glendale when the defendant lost control of her vehicle and jumped over the curb, killing the decedent. The plaintiffs, the decedent's wife and four adult children brought this wrongful death action against the defendant.
