On January 19, 1993, Plaintiff Lawrence Rollock, a 46-year-old mechanic, was driving his automobile when Defendant Singh, a cab driver in the course and scope of his employment for Defendant Greyline Cab, struck Plaintiff's vehicle. The accident occurred at the corner of Ashby and Martin Luther King streets in Berkeley. Defendant driver then allegedly fled from the scene. Defendants admitted liability at trial.
