On March 13, 1993, Defendant's vehicle struck Plaintiff's vehicle in a rear end collision. Defendant alleged that his foot came off the brake pedal when he sneezed. The collision occurred on the 57 Freeway near Raging Waters in San Dimas. Defendant's vehicle sustained $1,795 damage; Plaintiff's vehicle sustained $1,049 damage. Plaintiff was a 31-year-old part-time registered nurse at the time.
