Facts

On December 29, 1994, the plaintiff, a 50-year-old production supervisor, was operating his vehicle on Ramona Street in Ramona. While making a left turn from Ramona Street to a 4 lane state route (Highway 67) on a left green arrow, the plaintiff's vehicle was struck from the left side by a vehicle operated by the defendant. The defendant ran a red light and did not dispute liability. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on a negligence theory of recovery.
