Facts
On December 25, 1993, the decedent, Forrest Schultz, a 39-year-old mentally disabled man, developed pneumonia and was admitted to the defendant hospital, Parkview. He was seen by the defendant, _________ Chopra, M.D., and allegedly discharged on the wrong antibiotic. On two occasions following his discharge, he was seen by the defendant, D. Mina, M.D., at the defendant, FHP. FHP claims it ordered the decedent's hospital records but did not receive them until after the decedent's death. The decedent died of pneumonia on January 16, 1994. The plaintiffs, Jackie Johnson (the decedent's sister) and the decedents _______ other siblings, brought this action against the defendants FHP, Dr. D. Mina, Parkview and Dr. _________Chopra based on negligence and medical malpractice theories of recovery.
