Facts

The plaintiffs were three couples each of whom purchased a single family residence from the developer/builder in 1991. Other defendants were subcontractors who worked on the homes. The homes allegedly developed extensive cracking in the exterior stucco and other framing deficiencies were later discovered. The plaintiffs brought this action against the defendants, based on breach of contract, breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing, negligence, strict liability and breach of warranty theories of recovery.

Other Information

The settlement was reached approximately one year and two months after the case was filed. MEDIATION: Mediations were held on April 26, 1996 and May 14, 1996 before Robert S. Boyd. They did not resolve the matter.
