Facts

On April 24, 1995, the defendant's employee was test driving a vehicle. The plaintiff's vehicle was stopped westbound on El Segundo Blvd. The accident occurred when the defendant made a left-hand turn. The plaintiff's vehicle which proceeded straight into the intersection on a green signal. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence and respondeat superior theories of recovery.

The settlement was reached approximately one year and five months after the case was filed. ARBITRATION: An arbitration was held on July 24, 1996 before Craig A. Humphrey resulting in the an award of $25,000. The case settled for the amount of the arbitration award.
