On March 18, 1995, plaintiff Scott O'Dell, a 23-year-old food server, was traveling westbound on a motorcycle along Imperial Highway. Defendant Benjamin Ramos was traveling eastbound on Imperial Highway, when he made a left turn onto northbound Poplar. The car and motorcycle collided in the intersection. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on a negligence theory of recovery.
