On March 6, 1995, the plaintiff, a 59-year-old public relations representative for a nursing care facility, was shopping in the defendant's grocery store when she suddenly slipped and fell. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on premises liability and spoliation of evidence theories of recovery.
