On Jan. 8, 1995, plaintiff Karon Key, a 41-year-old in-home support aide, was injured when she fell at a mobile home, owned by the defendants Leonard and Lucille Key. The plaintiff was the estranged daughter-in-law of the Keys, whose son had died in 1989. The defendant owners of the mobile home park, settled with the plaintiff. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendants based on negligence theory of recovery.
