On April 6, 1997, plaintiff Juli Ann Ackerman, age 30, was walking along a ramp leading from defendant's tavern to an outdoor patio area. As a result of concrete curbing protruding into the ramp, plaintiff tripped and fell injuring her both wrists in the process. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on premises liability.
