In 1998, the plaintiff retained an Immigration Law Office to represent her in an immigration matter.
The plaintiff contended that the defendant was negligent in handling the case and that the defendant
misappropriated $120 belonging to the plaintiff.
The defendant contended that results were obtained for the plaintiff and that the $120 was returned to the
plaintiffÆs son.
The defendant filed a cross-complaint against the plaintiff's son for indemnity.
