On November 23, 1991, Plaintiff, a 55-year-old investment banker, was driving his 1964 Ford truck. The brakes failed, and Plaintiff collided with a stone wall. The truck brakes had been maintained by Defendants. The subject truck was accidentally destroyed following the accident.
