On Aug. 31, 1996, plaintiff Cynthia Lenahan, a 30-year-old part time legal secretary, entered the defendant Jack In The Box restaurant and slipped and fell on a pedestrian ramp that was wet from an employee washing the ramp. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence and premises liability theories of recovery.
