Facts

On Nov. 26, 1996, plaintiff, a 4-year-old child, was bitten by defendant's dog. The dog bites left minor gouges and lacerations on the child's face. The minor child, by and through her guardians ad litem, brought this action against defendants based on strict liability, negligence and premises liability seeking damages for personal injuries. The defendants were defended under their homeowners' insurance policy.
