Facts
On July 22, 2009, plaintiff John Doe, age 50, was driving on Avenue K in Lancaster, when Roe driver who was driving a tractor-trailer hit the plaintiff's car. The tractor-trailer were hidden by a dust cloud that accompanied the rig out of a field.
Injuries
Plaintiff suffered multi-trauma with a left wrist fracture, left femur, and hip fracture, as well as right eye retinal damage to fat embolism from left femur fracture.
Result
The case settled for $2.5 million.
