Sherif Iskander filed a complaint against Citigroup Global Markets Inc., involving an employment dispute.

Contentions

CLAIMANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Claimant asserted causes of action for retaliation, violation of Labor Code Section 1054, and defamation. Claimant also sought expungement of his CRD records.

RESPONDENT'S CONTENTIONS:
Respondent denied the allegations and asserted various affirmative defenses.

Result

The parties reached a settlement. The FINRA Panel thereafter recommended the expungement of Iskander's records and recommended the reason for his termination to be changed to voluntary and other changes.
