On November 19, 1989, Plaintiffs were travelling on highway in Arizona 50 miles west of Phoenix when tire tread separated from fully inflated tire and caught on the body of Plaintiff's vehicle resulting in rollover. Plaintiff Girard was 30 years and Plaintiff Simone was 31 years of age at the time of the incident.
