On August 7, 1992, Plaintiff, Lisa Lawrence a 41-year-old diagnostic technician, was a passenger in a 1990 Lexus ES-250, being then driven by her 15 1/2-year-old son with a learner's permit. Plaintiff alleged that, as the Lexus was entering the East S/R 126 Freeway at Victoria, in the City of Ventura, Defendants' truck struck Plaintiff in a rear-end collision.
