On March 6, 1991, defendant Kaye Muller was operating a vehicle which rear-ended a vehicle driven by the plaintiff, Vallory M. Denoyer, a 51-year-old disabled singer. The collision occurred on the Carmen Avenue off- ramp of the 101 Freeway. The plaintiff was driving a 1988 Oldsmobile and the defendant was driving a 1985 Toyota Celica. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence theories of recovery.
