On Aug. 2, 1995, the plaintiff, a 34-year-old clerk, was driving her 1972 Buick Riviera when the defendant's vehicle allegedly made a left-hand turn in front of her vehicle. The plaintiff struck her head on the windshield and sustained injuries. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence theories of recovery.
