Facts
On June 28, 1994, the plaintiff mother, Felice Simmonds, pregnant with twins, underwent a cesarian section delivery of the twin boys. The plaintiffs, the mother and father, alleged that defendant Dr. Susan Farus, used excessive force to deliver one of the twins, resulting in a skull fracture and the infant's death. The plaintiffs brought this wrongful death action against the defendant based on medical malpractice and negligence theories of recovery.
