On Sept. 16, 1999, plaintiff Viviane Mason and defendant James Henry were involved in an automobile accident
which occurred on East Civic Center Drive in National City. Plaintiff Mason and defendant Henry were both
traveling eastbound on Civic Center Drive when the collision occurred. Both parties claimed the other party
was at fault. Both parties alleged injuries as a result of the accident.
Defendant and cross-complainant Henry also claimed property damage and loss of use.
During the trial, plaintiff and cross-defendant Mason settled her claim against defendant and
cross-complainant Henry. The jury deliberated on liability and HenryÆs damages.
