Facts

The plaintiff was an employee at Intel tripped and fell in a workerÆs shed owned by Intel. The
workerÆs shed was maintained by the defendant subcontractor, T. Corp. Defendant T. Corp.Æs
employee allegedly left pipes on the floor and the plaintiff came into the shed, tripped over them
and fell. The plaintiff thereby sustained a fractured elbow which resulted in the contraction of
reflexive sympathetic dystrophy.

Settlement Discussions

The case settled at mediation for $1.35 million.

Injuries

The plaintiff sustained a fractured elbow with onset of reflex sympathetic dystrophy, requiring a spinal cord stimulator implant.
