Facts

The plaintiff was an employee of the defendant, New Age Systems Inc. While employed the defendant, the
plaintiff had taken a training program at the defendant's expense. A written agreement called for a pro rata
reimbursement for the cost of the training program should the plaintiffÆs employment with defendant cease
within a specified period. The plaintiff resigned and the defendant withheld $1684 from the plaintiff's final
paycheck.

Settlement Discussions

The defendant made an offer of $3,000, which was subsequently increased to $10,608. Both offers were rejected.

Result

Past due wages, penalty wages, interest and attorney fees amounting to $17,807.
