Facts

On Oct. 6, 1998, the Pasadena Police Dept., in the course of responding to a 911 call, discovered two damaged
cars, and the two claimants. There was no one at the scene of the accident who claimed to be the occupant of
the second car. Subsequently, it was learned that the second car had been reported stolen.

Settlement Discussions

The claimants demanded $30,000 (policy limits) to settle. After the first of two arbitration sessions, the claimants voluntarily withdrew their claims.

Injuries
