Facts

A class action was filed against Sirius XM Radio and Stream International Inc. over allegations that it violated telephone privacy and recording laws by failing to provide notice to customers who spoke with service representatives that their telephone calls were being monitored or recorded. Sirius denied all allegations.

Result

Sirius agreed to pay $9.5 million to settle the lawsuit.
