PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff, a Hispanic female over 40, worked for defendant at the Los Angeles International Airport. Plaintiff alleged that defendants demoted her because of her age and racial background. Plaintiff asserted causes of action for race/ethnicity/national origin discrimination in employment, age discrimination in employment retaliation for exercising rights under the Fair Employment and Housing Act, retaliation for exercising rights under Labor Code Section 1102.5, failure to prevent discrimination/harassment/retaliation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful refusal to return plaintiff to work. Plaintiff also requested injunctive relief.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant denied all of plaintiff's allegations.
Result
The court granted summary judgment in favor of defendants.
