Facts
On July 23, 1996, plaintiff Anthony Sims, a 38-year-old Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff, was traveling on the 101 freeway. Plaintiff brought his vehicle to a full and complete stop. Thereafter, he was rear-ended by defendant Hsiuhisa Hsu's vehicle. Thereafter, defendant Hsu's vehicle was rear-ended by defendant Lisa Maria Tarin. The plaintiff testified that he felt two impacts in the accident. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendants based on negligence.
