On Sept. 3, 1996, plaintiff Marta Chicas, a 47-year-old head housekeeper, was traveling westbound on Sunset Boulevard at Foothill when her vehicle was struck by defendant Jessica Entner's 1992 Nissan Pathfinder as it was making a left turn from eastbound Sunset onto Foothill. The plaintiff's vehicle was then spun into a light post on the north westside of the intersection. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence.
