On Aug. 22, 1995, plaintiff Donna Robinson, a 38-year-old nursing student, was struck by defendant Erika Eppink in a near head-on accident in the parking lot. The plaintiff sought treatment at a chiropractor 17 days after the accident, then was referred to an orthopedic surgeon by her first attorney. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence.
